Ibn Al-Qayyim’s “Nuniyyah” poem (نونية ابن القيم), so called because each line ends with an “n” sound, is quoted at:

47:16 In an infographic page on features of Hell (النار). The page has an English version in Rumiyah magazine at page 21 of issue 2. Perhaps interestingly, the Rumiyah page cites the poem “An-Nuniyyah” as the source of the lines quoted while the Al-Naba’ page does not. The lines are:

أعلى النعيم رؤية وجهه * وخطابه في جنّة الحيوانِ
وأشد شيء في العذاب حجابه * سبحانه عن ساكني النيرانِ
Given in Rumiyah as:
The heights of bliss are in seeing and hearing Him in the garden of life.
And the worst of punishment is that He is veiled from those dwelling in the Fire

And at 374:10, in the first part of an eight-part series of articles on heaven called النعيم المقيم, the Nuniyyah poem is quoted in reference to الحور العين or the maidens of paradise, with the lines beginning: “Oh you who wishes to marry the beautiful maidens and seeks to unite with them in the everlasting gardens…”:

يا خاطب الحور الحسان وطالبًا
لوصالهنّ بجنة الحيوان

An ongoing series of “Sayings of the Scholars of the Religion” (من أقوال علماء الملة) that appears sporadically presents statements from a variety of figures on various topics without comment. Ibn Al-Qayyim often features, such as at:

321:7 with a quote from مدارج السالكين
322:10 with a quote from الفوائد
368:5 with a quote from زاد المعاد on corruption in the “land and sea”, referring to Quran 30:41
371:7 with a quote from أحكام أهل الذمة on congratulating Jews and Christians on their religious occasions
373:11 with a quote from الداء والدواء on حسن الظن

Ibn Al-Qayyim is also occasionally quoted extensively in Islamic State speeches, such in the transcript of Abu Bakr Al-Husseini Al-Qurashi Al-Baghdadi’s “Give Glad Tidings to the Patients” (وبشر الصابرين) in Al-Naba’ issue 145, where Ibn Al-Qayyim is quoted on pages 12 and 14.
